Good Characters
Paladin
The paladin is a true champion, willing to lay down hos life for those to whom he has pledged his loyalty. Through more likely to take up a sword and wade into the thick of battle, his training with some of the more unique crossbows cannot be ignored.

- Long Sword
- LC Damage: 40
- Attacks/Sec.:2
- RC Damage: 40
- Attacks/Sec.: 2
Initial Raged Weapon:
- Crossbow
- LC Damage: 9

- Attacks/Sec.: 2
Unique Ranged Weapon:
- Gatling Crossbow
- LC Damage: 18
- Attacks/Sec.: 5
- RC Damage: 15/second
- Attacks/Sec.: 2
Hints:
- You often prefer melee combat during early and middle rounds. At that point in the game, you ranged weapon (the Crossbow) is not as affective as you long Sword in most circumstances.
- You like plate armor, but that means you tent to move slowly that characters wearing other types of armor.
- And, since you often buy Plate armor, it seems like you can take more damage than most other classes.
- The best attack for a new Paladin is to zigzag your way to a target (avoiding arrows, bolts and beams along the way) and engage you enemy hand-to-hand. You can use your ranged attack as you make your approach, then switch to melee for the kill.
- You work well in tandem with another Paladin, especially when it comes to fighting tough monsters or single opponents. This works really well in close quarters combat, but less well in open areas.
- You are taller than most other player characters, and therefore a bit easier to target and hit.
- You can get the Gatling Crossbow super-weapon with enough funds. This is a rapid-fire weapon with an extremely long reload time (7 seconds!). Its right-click spread attack works best at point-black range.

Druid
The elves have a natural talent for magic, and the Druid is no exception. Though equally adept with melee and ranged combat, the true power of the druid lies in the ability to manipulate the elements to do his bidding.
Height 5'4"
Armor allowed: Leather, Chain Mail, Magic
Melee Weapon:
- Scimitar
- LC Damage: 35
- Attack/Sec.: 2
- RC Damage: 35
- Attack/Sec.: 2
Initial Ranged Weapon:
- Spider Staff
- LC Damage: 11
- Attack/Sec.: 3.5
- RC Damage 13 (5-ft radius)
- Attack/Sec.:2
Unique Ranged Weapon:
- Dragon Staff
- LC Damage: 30 (pushback)
- Attacks/Sec.: 3
- RC Damage: 33(10-ft area)
- Attacks/sec.: 2
Hints
- You have a mediocre melee weapon (the Scimitar) but a slightly better ranged weapon in the Spider Staff. It emits an area-effect cloud of poison that can injure nearby enemies, even through doors and walls.
- You find the middle ground - better at melee combat than the Sorceress and Archer, and better at ranged combat than the Paladin or Warrior.
- You are well-advised to concentrate on ranged combat in the early rounds. Get Leather armor at the start to protect yourself. Later, you can purchase heavier armor to increase your chances in melee combat.

Sorceress
Of elven decent, the Sorceress is capable of unmatched feats of magic. She is the master of long-range combat, employing her skills in the fight against the forces of Evil.
Hight 5'2"
Armor Allowed: Leather, Magic
Melee Weapon
- Dagger
- LC Damage: 30
- Attacks/Sec.: 2
- RC Damage: 30
- Attacks/Sec.: 2
Initial Ranged Weapon:
- Wand
- LC: Damage: 13
- Attacks/Sec.: 2
- RC Damage: 25/sec.
- Attacks/sec.: n.a.
Unique Ranged Weapon:
- Sunray Wand
- LC Damage: 100 (3-ft-quake)
- Attacks/Sec.: 1
- RC Damage: FarSight Zoom
- Attacks/Sec.: -
Hints:
- You are probably the weakest character at the start, but can be the most powerful in late rounds, after acquiring the Sunray Wand and Magic armor.
- You are cursed with a mediocre melee weapon early in the game, and fairly vulnerable to melee attacks. Get Leather armor, and after you have more money, Magic armor.
- Your Wand's attack is an instantaneous beam, making it hard for enemies to dodge it. The right-click created a constant beam that hits precisely at the center of your cross-hairs - more effective than the regular beam at long range.
- If aimed at the legs, your Wand's right-click beam can keep rushing enemies off-balance and constantly at bay.
- You are the shortest character in the game; therefore, you're harder to hit at range and can sometimes squeeze into tighter spaces.
- Your ranged weapons strengths (and close-combat weaknesses) make you best suited to outdoor combat or fights in wider areas.
- Your Sunray Wand super weapon, which no one else can buy, has a double-power FarSight Zoom and can kill with a single shot.

Warlord
The Warlord is a true master of the battlefield, each a one-man army. Wielding a mighty two-handed sword, a Warlord also has access to the best ranged weapons. The death of the warlord mean immediate defeat of his team. (even Sorceress becomes male when fighting as the Warlord.)
Hight 6'0"

Armor Allowed: Warlord (initial issue)
Hints:
- You cannot buy anything as a Warlord. (Of course you start with the best sword and ranged weapon available to you, and great armor.)
