Ice Blast Crossbow
Cost: 1,000
Weapon Slot: 1
Max Load: 30
Reload time (sec): 3
LC Attack: Fires a shard of ice which directly damages its target
RC Attack: Fires a blast of ice which shatters into multiple shards when it comes into contact with anything. Right-clicking again while a blast is in flight will cause it to shatter in midair (be sure you don’t inadvertently shatter your first blast prematurely when you really mean to fire a second blast).
Range (ft): LC-1000 RC-300
Speed (ft/sec): LC-200 RC-150
Damage: LC-14 RC-5 x 10 shards
Attacks per sec: LC-3 RC-1
Cost (ammo): LC-1 bolt RC-3 bolts
- Cheap and good in a pinch, the ice blast crossbow delivers solid damage. In a confined area, the ice shrapnel can shred an enemy – no other weapon fires this type of projectile.
- This weapon is well-suited for princess rescue missions. If the enemy has holed up in a tiny area somewhere with the princess, launch a right-click attack against them.
- Despite its scattering shards, the ice blast crossbow isn’t really an area effect weapon. However, it does great damage in a small area or around tunnel corners.
- The best way to use this in combat is to launch a right-click attack, followed by several left-click attacks.
- If you lost everything in the previous round, this makes a good comeback weapon for most of the scenarios.

Tracking Crossbow
Cost: 4,500
Weapon Slot: 1
Max Load: 30
Reload time (sec): 3
LC Attack: Fires a bolt straight ahead which inflicts moderate damage to its target.
RC Attack: Fires a magical bolt which tracks the nearest enemy. The seeker activates after 50 feet and can turn 90° per second.
Range (ft): LC-1000 RC-300
Speed (ft/sec): LC-200 RC-300
Damage: LC-19 RC-24
Attacks per sec: LC-3.5 RC-1
Cost (ammo): LC-1 bolt RC-3 bolts
- The tracking crossbow offers a powerful, minimal-fills offensive weapon.
- There are a lot of round per clip in this weapon. With conservative shooting, you can down two or three opponents on a single load.
- This weapon’s left-click attack serves as a good, fast close-combat weapon.
- Use this weapon’s right-click attack in open areas, but in close quarters. The right-click tracking bolts require a 50-foot arming distance. This means that unless your target is at least that far away, the seeker head won’t have time to activate.
- When firing seeker bolts, try to leave a lot of distance between yourself and your target. Get your cross-hairs in the general vicinity of the target, then aim the right-click slightly up.

Gatling Crossbow
Cost: 10,000 (May only be purchased by paladin)
Weapon Slot: 1
Max Load: 100
Reload time (sec): 7
LC Attack: Fires a hailstorm of bolts as long as you hold down the button. In narrow spaces, there is little your enemy can do to escape.
RC Attack: Holding down the button charges the crossbow by loading multiple bolts into the barrel. This attack “loads” 15 points of damage each second. For every 10 points, another bolt is created, up to 5 bolts and 50 points. After that, additional points are spread among the 5 bolts. The crossbow charges until you release the button (firing it), but it automatically fires after 10 seconds, shooting five 30-point bolts. The shots scatter, so this is best used at point-blank range.
Range (ft): LC-1000 RC-500
Speed (ft/sec): LC-200 RC-100
Damage: LC-18 RC-15
Attacks per sec: LC-5 RC-2
Cost (ammo): LC-1 bolt RC-1 bolts
- The gatling is easy for inexperienced players to use and a great danger in the hands of experienced players. It's basically a point-and-shoot weapon that does a little less damage per shot than most other unique weapons, but it has the highest rate of fire.
- For the left-click attack, each "clip" holds a hundred bolts that can be fired in quick succession.
- The right-click attack fires up to five bolts simultaneously. The longer you hold down the button before releasing it, the greater the damage per bolt.
- The reload time for the gatling crossbow is over twice as long as any other weapon.
- A good application for this crossbow is against an ambush. You can close in using its ranged attack, then switch to you melee weapon to finish off the kill.
