Damage: LC-9 RC–13

Throwing Knife
Cost: 400
Weapon Slot: 1
Max Load: 15
Reload time (sec): 3
LC Attack: Throw a knife straight at where you point your cross-hairs.
RC Attack: Lobs a knife (actually, a bundle of three knives) which sticks into the ground. The bundle will explode if any character or creature steps on it within 10 seconds (it dissipates after 10 seconds).
Range (ft): LC–500 RC-750
Speed (ft/sec): LC–100 RC-75
Damage: LC-11 RC–10
Attacks per sec: LC-4 RC-1/2
Dmg radius (ft): LC-- RC-10
Cost (ammo): LC-1 knife RC-3 knives
- Throwing knives are the most quickly fired ranged weapon in the game. However, each knife does minimal damage.
- The right-click attack lays down a land mine that detonates when someone steps on it. These are good to place at the tops of ladders, around corners, or between yourself and a pack of monsters you’re about to activate.
- Good timing is everything when you’re using the mine attack. If you’re drawing a pack of troglodytes out, make sure that they’re close enough so that they don’t arrive after the mine dissipates.
- Be careful not to step on your own mines – if you do, you’ll take a lot of damage or could even die. This holds true even if friendly fire isn’t on.
- Work with a team-mate who has a gravity axe. He/she can plant a gravity well, and you can toss a couple of mines near the middle of the well.
- If you’re unhappy with your character’s initial ranged weapon, purchase this at the start.
- Refire time is somewhat long for the right-click attack. If you plan on laying down several mines, your timing has to be precise to get several down so that all are down by the time that your intended victim approaches but the first one hasn’t dissipated.

Gravity Axe
Cost: 1,000
Weapon Slot: 1
Max Load: 21
Reload time (sec): 3
LC Attack: Throws an axe straight at where you point your cross-hairs. Inflicts moderate damage.
RC Attack: Lobs an axe which acts as its own gravity well. Players, monsters and loose objects will be pulled toward the centre of the affected area, making escape difficult until the effect wears off. The gravity effect lasts for 10 seconds.
Range (ft): LC–500 RC-750
Speed (ft/sec): LC–100 RC-50
Damage: LC-15 RC–-
Attacks per sec: LC-3 RC-1/12
Effect radius (ft): LC-- RC-30
Cost (ammo): LC-1 axe RC-3 axes
- The gravity axe’s right-click attack works really well for slowing down an enemy warlord. Because he’s so weighed down with armour and weapons, he can’t fight its pull and will move toward the axe. At that point, he’s a sitting duck for anyone with a ranged weapon.
- Reserve this weapon for use in maps with dangerous terrain i.e. lava and high ledges.
- For an entertaining spectacle, use the gravity effect on an enemy who’s fighting a monster at close range. They’ll get scrunched together, and he/she will be forced to fight a melee battle.
- Use this weapon judiciously around your team-mates. They, as well as you, are susceptible to the gravity well.
- The gravity axe’s right-click attack is good for flushing out enemies that are hiding in an area.

Earthquake Hammer
Cost: 10,000 (May only be purchased by warrior)
Weapon Slot: 1
Max Load: 30
Reload time (sec): 3
LC Attack: Throws a hammer that will ricochet off the first object it hits, potentially allowing it to hit targets that you cannot see.
RC Attack: Arcs a hammer toward the point where you aimed your cross-hairs. The projectile causes an earthquake for 1 second, centred at the point of impact, which inflicts incredible damage. The earthquake radius is 30 feet, but the damage area extends 10 feet beyond that.
Range (ft): LC–500 RC-500
Speed (ft/sec): LC–100 RC-100
Damage: LC-29 RC–60
Attacks per sec: LC-4 RC-1/4
Dmg Radius (ft): LC-- RC-40
Cost (ammo): LC-1 hammer RC-5 hammers
- This is essentially a huge upgrade to the warrior’s throwing axe, and bounces off whatever it hits. The ricochet effect makes it a good weapon for hitting enemies out of your line of sight.
- The right-click attack causes an earthquake 60 feet in diameter. This disrupts the aim of anyone within the radius of effect, regardless of walls and obstacles.
- You can toss an earthquake hammer over walls, around corners, or at a wall to damage those on the other side. It delivers devastating damage to anyone close to the point of impact.
- Try shelling a camped party in an open area. After you throw one earthquake hammer, switch to the left-click attack. When the first earthquake wears off, throw another one.
